A Breathtakingly Beautiful Café in Jeju: Egg Ultart
A Shimmering Café Along Iho-Tewoo Beach

I was looking for a parking spot near Iho-Tewoo Beach when I spotted an absolutely stunning space that instantly caught my eye.
At first glance, I thought it might be a private villa or perhaps an upscale resort annex.
As I got closer, I realized it was a café—and what a beautiful one it was.
The large English signage gave it such an exotic flair that for a moment, I felt transported to some picturesque corner of Hawaii.
Given my weakness for beautiful spaces, there was no way I could just walk past it.
The beach visit was quickly forgotten the moment I spotted this place.

You should have seen my face when I first discovered this place. My eyes were wide with wonder.
The café was simply too beautiful to resist—I had to step inside.

I’m not sure why even the simple stone wall here looks so charming. Everything feels touched by a kind of magic when you photograph it.

Don’t you think the character design fits perfectly with the café’s aesthetic? It’s cute and fresh, with an exotic warmth that draws you in. Whoever designed this deserves endless praise—really outstanding work!

Ordering is done via a self-order kiosk, and the prices are quite reasonable.
The place is already beautiful, but it becomes even more attractive with such affordable pricing.
I noticed only one staff member on duty that day, working quite busily on their own. Yet somehow, even that felt charming in its own way.

The adorable character designs that keep drawing your eye back

This is the star of the menu.
It’s shaped like a citrus fruit, but it’s actually a tart—perfect for giving as a gift.
The taste? Absolutely delicious. I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take photos!

There’s an oval-fenced garden plot in front of the café—I’m not entirely sure of its purpose—but even the vegetable patch looks stunningly beautiful here. Along with the ocean views, it creates an understated garden-like feeling that somehow complements the café, despite the seeming mismatch. It’s an unusual touch that lingers in memory.

Egg Ultart: A Must-Visit When You’re in Jeju
I’m someone who visits many cafés, enjoys them, reflects on them, and appreciates each experience.
Yet discovering such a beautiful space I didn’t even know existed nearby, and seeing myself genuinely happy within it, sparked an immediate thought: I have to come back here.
It turns out this place already attracts plenty of visitors online. I completely understand why.
And I’m adding my own endorsement to the list.
That’s all from Lux.
