You can sense it after only a little wandering around: the place strongly resembles a wealthy family’s private retreat. It does make you wonder whether turning it into a café was really the original plan. That is part of what makes it so interesting. It sparks the imagination—the building’s original purpose seems to emerge naturally, even though it has little to do with being a café.
