All That Coffee Jeju Aewol – A WOW-Worthy Café That Feels Like America

As many know, Aewol is famous for its café district.
Among them, Bomnal Café is the place where people line up and wait. I myself tried parking three times to visit, but got frustrated and gave up. So I postponed Bomnal Café for another time, though I felt a bit disappointed about it.
Why disappointed? Well, Bomnal Café is so famous and busy that the staff can be quite dismissive. They have this “come or don’t, I don’t care” attitude. If you’re sensitive about parking, they basically tell you to figure it out yourself.
Normally, a café would ask “where would you like to park?” or “can you wait a moment? Let me help you figure it out.” But that’s not how they operate.
They seem too busy taking orders from the endless stream of Chinese tourists to care much about local customers. It was honestly frustrating to witness the cold treatment toward Korean visitors.
So as I was exploring the Aewol café district, I discovered a stunning café and decided to step inside.

The café’s interior is wonderfully classic, with a strong vibe of New Orleans and Kansas City, don’t you think? Beautiful jazz melodies continuously set the tone for the entire space. The interior design is lovely, but it’s really the music that makes you feel so at ease.
As soon as I greeted the staff at the counter, two women welcomed me with genuine warmth. Whether they were the owner or staff, I’m not sure, but they were incredibly kind and spoke so pleasantly. That earlier disappointment from Bomnal Café completely vanished from my mind.
When I asked for a menu recommendation, they told me their espresso is excellent here. You should always listen to what the staff recommends, so I went with the espresso.

As you can see in the photos, the comfortable interior and beautiful front garden create an overall sophisticated and elegant vibe. The tables are thoughtfully scattered both indoors and outdoors, giving you plenty of seating options. There’s also a second floor, which is an even better spot to enjoy the sea view. All That Coffee – Menu & Specialties
The coffee menu is diverse, with espresso-based drinks as the main focus. They also sell baguettes and desserts. Popular items include “All That Coffee & Baguette” and “Pistachio Granita Flat.”
The recommended way to enjoy the menu is to dip the baguette into the cream or coffee – which is exactly what I did, and it was absolutely delicious! The prices are on the higher side for a typical café, but the quality justifies it.
A Haven for Unique Shopping Finds
Various headbands, bags, and other charming accessories are beautifully displayed throughout the café, making it fun to browse as you walk around. The place is clearly designed with women in mind – whether you’re interested in fashion or not, it’s a delight to explore. While I, as a man, don’t have a strong interest in accessories, I still appreciate the care and attention to detail. Finally, my long-awaited espresso arrived.
I spent quite a while just looking at it before snapping photo after photo. As you can see in the pictures, it’s just too beautiful. I couldn’t bear to eat it right away. I normally love espresso, but how could I possibly just gulp down something so lovely – the baguette with that perfectly placed dollop of cream? So I kept taking more photos.

That day, the rain kept coming and going intermittently. I settled onto the terrace – not quite indoors, not quite outside – to organize my travel photos and enjoy an espresso. It was simply wonderful. The occasional spray of rainwater seemed to clear my mind even more, the music was perfect, the espresso was even better, and the breeze, the air – every moment felt just right.
A Space That Brings Joy – How to Truly Enjoy a Café
We travel for rest, for new excitement and challenge, for romance. We don’t travel to become victims of merchants’ manipulation.
All That Coffee was a beautiful space where I, as a traveler, felt respected and genuinely welcomed. It was a wonderful experience.
