Utah, Delta Launch Cotopaxi Luxury Outdoor Expedition

A premium, high-end travel experience is being developed around Utah’s vast landscape and five iconic national parks.

The Utah Office of Tourism in Korea and global airline Delta Air Lines have joined forces with Utah-born global outdoor brand Cotopaxi and travel tech company MyRealTrip to launch the “Cotopaxi Utah Expedition” project.

📌 A base for adventure: the Utah Travel Zone

The project’s offline hub is the newly opened Cotopaxi Seoul Flagship store in Sinsa-dong, Seoul’s Gangnam district.

  • Immersive exhibition: The in-store Utah Travel Zone will feature visual content showcasing Utah’s dramatic landscapes and distinctive outdoor attractions.
  • On-site booking access: Visitors will be able to scan QR codes in the store to view details of Utah travel products developed exclusively by MyRealTrip and book them immediately.

🗺️ Expedition recruitment and itinerary details

Participants are being recruited to experience firsthand the core route that will form the basis of the final travel product, starting from Salt Lake City International Airport, a key hub in the global network serving the mountain regions of the American West.

  • Expedition dates: September 2026 (five nights, seven days)
  • Itinerary: Five of the United States’ signature national parks—Zion Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef
  • Promotional partner: A public contest will be hosted through “Travelholic,” an online travel content platform
  • What’s included: Round-trip direct flights between Incheon and Salt Lake City on Delta Air Lines, fully covered premium local tours and accommodations, and a special Cotopaxi outdoor kit

💬 Industry perspectives

“This collaboration is a multidimensional project bringing together a tourism authority, an airline, a global commerce brand and a travel tech company,” said Choi Ji-hoon, director of the Utah Office of Tourism in Korea. “By giving Korean travelers the opportunity to experience Utah’s distinctive premium outdoor assets firsthand, we aim to establish the state as one of the American West’s leading themed travel destinations.”

Delta Air Lines said the project is expected to become a flagship high-end travel product, combining the carrier’s robust Americas network with exceptional experiences on the ground.
