Hallyeohaesang National Park from Above
You’ll see Hallyeohaesang National Park from an entirely new perspective here.
Leaving this spot off your Geoje Island itinerary would be a real shame.

Tips for Visiting the Geoje Panorama Cable Car
A little advance information can make any journey richer, helping you get more deeply into the character of a place. Here are the details I checked and put together myself.
Location and parking: Enter 288 Geojejungang-ro, Dongbu-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do into your navigation system.
When you arrive, you’ll find a fairly spacious parking area, so there’s no need to worry about finding a spot.
Operating hours: Services generally begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Hours may vary depending on the season and weather conditions, so it’s best to check the official website on the day of your visit to confirm whether the cable car is operating.
Ticket information (as of 2025):
Standard cabin: Round-trip tickets cost KRW 19,000 for adults and KRW 15,000 for children aged 36 months through elementary school.
Crystal cabin (transparent floor): Round-trip tickets cost KRW 24,000 for adults and KRW 19,000 for children.
Discounts are also available for Geoje residents, national veterans, people with disabilities and others. If you qualify, be sure to bring valid identification.
I chose the standard cabin, and it was more than enough to enjoy the scenery through the windows without distraction.

From the Ground to the Heavens: A Moment for Reflection as You Climb
You know that feeling when you’ve bought your ticket and stepped into the cabin—that slight mix of anticipation and excitement?
The roughly 15-minute ride is made even more enjoyable by the scenery unfolding all around you.
The forests below feel warm and familiar, while the spectacular seascape of Geoje Island stretches out beside you.
It’s a place where you can truly feel the pleasure of travel.

Yoonseul Observatory: Geoje in One Sweeping Panorama
The moment you step off at the upper station and reach Yoonseul Observatory, the view is simply spectacular.
From Hakdong Mongdol Beach to Gujora and Wahyeon Beach, the landscape around Geoje unfolds in one glorious sweep.
This is exactly what a viewpoint should be: everything laid out before your eyes.
It’s more than merely beautiful. Looking out across this landscape, you can’t help but feel moved by the solemn beauty shaped by the history of the people who have made this land their home and by the passage of time in nature.
At the same time, it stirs a curious feeling—something perhaps a little like patriotism. ^^

A Place to Map Out Your Entire Geoje Itinerary
Seeing Geoje from the Panorama Cable Car gives you a fresh perspective on every place you might visit around the island.
It can help you plan your trip more systematically—and make the whole journey more enjoyable.
Of course, the summit of Nojasan is another excellent option for your itinerary.
Thank you.
